With over 25 years in the remodeling industry, our primary focus is in residential remodeling. We have extensive experience solving both design and structural challenges in kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.

- Effective communication is required for any endeavor to be successful. Our dedication to effective communication begins during the proposal stage and continues beyond the end of project completion.
Our structured communication protocol includes a customer pre-production meeting defining schedules, procedures and personnel.

- Line item detail estimates not only show the costs for your project but specifically identify products and if a specific product has not been identified, a cost allowance for comparable quality products will be included. An allowance provides an accurate and honest budget picture even if product selection is incomplete.
Line item detail eliminates any confusion over what is or what is not included.
- Draw schedules are the industry term for payment schedules and we tie draw schedules to specific events that reflect actual cash usage vs. the standard percentage of project completion draw schedules commonly used in this industry.
Using specific project start and completions allows our customers to easily verify a particular draw is due. We totally eleiminate any confusion over what constitutes 25% or 50% of project completion with $XX due.
We leave a final residual draw due 30 days after project completion. This assures our customers that we will promptly return to adjust a sticking door etc., which may or not have been evident on the project completion walk through.
ABOUT THE OWNERS:
Larry Varnick – Larry has been involved in the remodeling industry for over 25 years. In his real estate investment business he renovated over 50 properties ranging in size from single family homes to large apartment complexes. Larry is a master carpenter, plumber and electrician.
Dick St. Amour – Dick is the founder of Silver Stripe Builders and is a master carpenter. Dick grew up building houses working with his father and continued building houses through college. After leaving his corporate position, Dick formed Silver Stripe Builders and has been remodeling commercial & residential property full time since 1992.
Dick and Larry joined forces in 2004 to better serve the remodeling community.
